The company was set up by Jonathan, a lifelong aviator. After selling his drone software company, Skyward to Verizon in February of 2017, he assembled a team of aerospace and software experts to fulfil his dream of building a truly on-demand flight network.
During our conversation, Jonathan talked about how KinectAir aims to be the ‘Uber of the Skies’ and elaborated on the services and impact the company can have on the emerging Advanced Air Mobility market. He shared what he feels are the current aviation trends and also the recent partnership KinectAir has signed with eSTOL aircraft developer Electra.
And finally, we go into more detail about how Jonathan and his team aim to democratise the private air travel experience with a supply of FAA-certified providers.
