PODCAST: Veronica Sesoko of the Drone Innovation Partnership talks about Ireland’s potential for AAM

Our next pod­cast is now live! This week, we were delight­ed to be joined by Veron­i­ca Sesoko, who is the Engage­ment Lead for the ground­break­ing Drone Inno­va­tion Part­ner­ship.

It is a two-year col­lab­o­ra­tion between Maynooth Uni­ver­si­ty, Dublin City Council’s Drone Unit and Smart City Unit and the Irish Avi­a­tion Author­i­ty.

In this episode, we talk to Veron­i­ca about Ire­land’s huge poten­tial for Advanced Air Mobil­i­ty and the work she is doing with the var­i­ous organ­i­sa­tions.

Dublin was one of the world’s first cities to adopt a drone strat­e­gy, so Veron­i­ca goes into more detail about the back­ground behind the ini­tia­tive and what the roadmap looks like for the com­ing years.

We also talk about why Ire­land is best placed to be a real leader in this indus­try, and Veron­i­ca also tells us what the rest of the year has in store with her work.
