Sarla Aviation Collaborates with Makmor “to Develop Nationwide Vertiport Ecosystem Around India”

Sar­la Avi­a­tion, an eVTOL devel­op­er and man­u­fac­tur­er, announced this week it is col­lab­o­rat­ing with Mak­mor, an infra­struc­ture builder, to iden­ti­fy key loca­tions for the con­struc­tion of ver­ti­ports around India, says a Linkedin post. This part­ner­ship will focus on inte­grat­ing ver­ti­ports into res­i­den­tial, com­mer­cial and hos­pi­tal­i­ty devel­op­ments.

Mak­mor is best known for its expe­ri­ence in green­field infra­struc­ture devel­op­ment and brings with it a strong net­work of region­al and glob­al part­ners.

Sar­la Avi­a­tion, India’s first man­u­fac­tur­er of eVTOLS, will work close­ly with the com­pa­ny to iden­ti­fy and then acti­vate key loca­tions that can host future ver­ti­ports, enabling a new era of urban air mobil­i­ty in the coun­try.

India: Sar­la Avi­a­tion, Ben­galu­ru Col­lab­o­rate for “City to Air­port Via eVTOL in 5 Min­utes!” 

At the begin­ning of this year, Sar­la launched its six-seat Shun­ya eVTOL, at the Bharat Mobil­i­ty Glob­al Expo 2025 in Del­hi. This air taxi aims to trans­form urban air trav­el in India by intro­duc­ing the world’s most eco­nom­i­cal and sus­tain­able ride-shar­ing mod­el. 

The com­pa­ny has announced plans to start air taxi ser­vices in Ben­galu­ru by 2028, and then grad­u­al­ly roll out into oth­er cities in India.
