Varon Vehicles and Flock confirmed as speakers at eVTOL Insights’ next virtual networking event later this month
With two weeks to go until eVTOL Insights’ next virtual networking event — held on the final Friday of every month — the next two speakers have been confirmed.
Felipe Varon, CEO and Founder of Varon Vehicles, and Peter Stirratt from Flock, will both be giving 15-minute presentations during the session, which will be on May 28th from 4pm‑5.30pm BST.
Felipe will provide an update on Varon Vehicles’ work in Latin America, where it is currently developing its ‘Infrastructure Networks’ and plans to implement the first urban air mobility services in Colombia. It has already announced several key partnerships this year, with companies including Jaunt Air Mobility, Five-Alpha, TruWeather Solutions and PS&S.
With 18 years of experience in leading edge military technology, Felipe is deeply involved with military and civilian unmanned aerial systems. He is a graduate in Finances, Contracting Law, Entrepreneurship and Innovation from several universities including Harvard and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Regarded as the drone insurance experts, Flock started off in the drone industry using real-time data — such as population density and wind speed — to quantify, insure, and mitigate drone flight risks.
Since 2018, Flock has insured thousands of innovative drone operations globally, from agricultural surveyors to NHS medical delivery flights. Its technology has helped pilots around the world to fly safer, reducing their risk exposure by 15 per cent on average.
Registration is free for the event, which will start off with 30 minutes of networking before the two 15-minute presentations. There will then be another 30 minutes of networking to finish.
You can reserve your spot by clicking here. All attendees will be sent a recording of each presentation after the event, and a PDF document with contact details of those who participated.
