Volatus Infrastructure and Marsh McLennan to provide complete turnkey eVTOL infrastructure package

Volatus Infrastructure has created a strategic partnership with Marsh McLennan to provide the AAM industry with a complete turnkey electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) infrastructure package. Marsh McLennan will be the preferred partner for insurance solutions to Volatus customers.

“With Marsh McLennan’s dedicated aviation division, they have the best knowledge and experience that they are able to apply to the AAM industry, and we are setting up our customers with all the tools they will need to have successful eVTOL operations” said Grant Fisk, Volatus Infrastructure CoFounder.

Marsh McLeannan account executive Charlie DeLoye added: “We put our expertise to work for industry leaders like Volatus as they pursue their goals within the evolving AAM ecosystem.”

“Marsh McLennan’s expertise in the aviation marketplace positions us to help clients navigate this new era of aviation, by addressing emerging risks and opportunities with innovative solutions.

“At Marsh McLennan, we leverage our expertise in the global insurance marketplace and specifically in the aviation marketplace alongside our carrier relationships to help industry leaders like Volatus succeed in the evolving AAM ecosystem.

“Our focus is on three critical areas that we believe are essential for success in the AAM space: infrastructure, vehicles, and end users. We have a comprehensive understanding of the complex infrastructure required for AAM operations and extensive experience working with a variety of AAM vehicle types, including UAS, eVTOL, and air taxis.

“We prioritise safety and are committed to addressing emerging risks and challenges with innovative solutions. We partner with our clients to navigate this new era of aviation, seizing growth opportunities without compromising on safety.”

Founded in 2021, Volatus Infrastructure claims to be connecting communities to the future with bestin-class eVTOL infrastructure technology with three main eVTOL infrastructure designs, a vehicle agnostic charging station, an app and maintenance programmes.

Last month, Volatus Infrastructure co-founder Grant Fisk joined the National Air Transportation Association (NATA) Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) Committee to provide stakeholder input on the path forward for fixed base operators (FBOs) and airports planning to service the next generation of aircraft.
