Aeroauto, FLY2RV Partner “to Explore Distributing eVTOLs Across America”
Aeroauto, describing itself as “the world’s leading eVTOL showroom/dealership and Advanced Aerial Mobility systems integrator”, announced this week plans to explore setting up a distribution agreement for eVTOLs and related infrastructure alongside over 100 of FLY2RV’s partner fixed base operators (FBOs) around the U.S. The collaboration aims to make eVTOLs more accessible to mainstream consumers by allowing them to purchase and service the vehicles at local airports.
The explanation: Founded in Florida in 2021, Aeroauto, was set up for the perceived and impending “eVTOL revolution”, by specialising in infrastructure and services, in particular, setting up showrooms and dealerships for personal flying cars and cargo drones. Founded in 2019, FLY2RV is a leading provider of primarily rental Recreational Vehicles (RV) with locations at over 100 U.S airports.
The planned showrooms are designed to provide customers with an educational experience, allowing them “to learn about the features and capabilities of eVTOL vehicles in a hands-on environment.” They also offer a convenient location for customers “to purchase eVTOL vehicles and schedule maintenance and repair services as well as flight instruction.”
The partnership Aim to Distribute EHang eVTOLs Across America
The partnership wish to be “a one-stop shop for all eVTOL needs” including individual, commercial, municipal, emergency and security services. It states several eVTOL models are under negotiation for sale. These include the Air One, EHang 216 and VT30 and the AirCar. The company also sees its role to install the charging and landing infrastructure required to support such craft. Some may feel this is “all pie in the sky” and will remain a vision until, and if, full flight certification is given to these personal flying cars.

Sean Borman, CEO of Aeroauto, commented, ”Our vision is for eVTOLs to become a mainstream mode of transportation, which requires making them available in people’s communities.” He continued, “By partnering with FLY2RV, already serving private pilots, aircraft owners and RV renters, we aim to build familiarity and comfort with eVTOLs locally.”

Customers will be able to view, test drive, and purchase Aeroauto’s eVTOLs at participating FLY2RV FBO locations in late 2023 and beyond via this new partnership. The FBOs will handle the vehicles’ sales, service, charging and storage using infrastructure installed by Aeroauto partner companies.
The company expects this “neighborhood flying car dealership model” to significantly boost the adoption of eVTOLs by making them more visible and accessible to everyday consumers.
Jim Schivley, Founder of FLY2RV, added, “Together, we will establish a network of world-class facilities that will support the growth of eVTOL transportation and offer exceptional services to our customers.”
