BEAT Aviation Announces Its Inaugural Regional Air Mobility Online Workshop — Taking Place This Month
Tickets to an online educational workshop which focuses on how Regional Air Mobility (RAM) will help shape the future global aviation market are now on sale.
The event has been organised by BEAT Aviation — a company founded by Jeremy ‘Jam’ Hartley which aims to ‘turn the concept of safe, affordable and sustainable RAM into reality.’
Taking place from 4.30pm to 6pm GMT on Tuesday, November 25th, BEAT describes the workshop as more than a technical overview. It will explore how RAM is shaping short-range flight through a values-driven approach which prioritises sustainability, equity and community-first design.
Additionally, the online session offers an introduction to RAM’s role within the Advanced Air Mobility ecosystem, including the infrastructure and regulatory frameworks and career pathways emerging in this fast-growing sector.
Participants will also explore the social, environmental and economic drivers accelerating RAM adoption, from breakthroughs in electric, hybrid-electric and hydrogen propulsion, to the untapped potential of regional airports and the growing demand for alternatives to congested roads and hubs.
Hartley said: “The future of aviation will be shaped not by innovation alone, but by a collaborative effort to build a sustainable and inclusive industry. I call on a diverse coalition of contributors; from aviation professionals, to non-industry stakeholders and engaged citizens, to join forces in activating this shared mission.”
This workshop also marks the beginning of BEAT Aviation’s broader mission: to operate within community-first RAM networks across the UK and globally.
As BEAT forges partnerships with other key players within the ecosystem, it aims to strengthen these collaborations by implementing values-aligned legal frameworks and advancing a culture of safety and professional pride.
This includes promoting equity through inclusive training and mentorship. From an operational standpoint, BEAT will remain aircraft agnostic and as zero-emission aircraft become certified and commercially viable, it will deploy them across regional routes, prioritising underserved areas and ensuring every operational decision aligns with long-term climate commitments and public trust.
Although BEAT’s roots are in the United Kingdom, its mission is global. Its commitments include encouraging net-zero operations from day one, progressing to true zero emissions as technology evolves: connecting small airports, coastal water aerodromes, and underserved communities using the cleanest aircraft and VTOL technology available.
Hartley adds: “BEAT’s pledge will be to ensure fares are affordable and regional travel is accessible whilst delivering real social value by improving access to healthcare, jobs, education and tourism for rural and island communities.
“It will also support the future of aviation through inclusive STEM outreach and investment in education and upholding the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals across all partnerships”.
General admission for this online primer is priced at £25, with a discounted student rate of £10 to ensure accessibility for emerging change makers.
All attendees will receive a 20 per cent discount voucher toward any upcoming BEAT Aviation ‘Foundations in RAM’ in-person workshop, launching soon within the UK and across the world.
