eVTOL Insights to use questions from K‑12 students at its North America Conference, as part of new education initiative with AMCi | noun
eVTOL Insights has announced a new education initiative with AMCi | noun™ today (Thursday), which will give K‑12 students at schools across the United States a rare opportunity to submit questions for panelists to answer at its North America Conference later this month.
AMCi | noun™ is an educational media company which helps young people connect with the world through storytelling, inquiry and real-world experiences that make the future feel visible, relevant and within reach.
This initiative is designed to ensure conversations generated at this event and future ones belong to today’s experts and innovators, as well as the young people who will inherit, shape and one day lead this emerging ecosystem.
Questions from K‑12 students will be integrated into planned panel discussions at eVTOL Insights’ North America Conference, taking place at the National Advanced Air Mobility Center of Excellence (NAAMCE) from April 29th to May 1st.
The panel sessions focus on a host of different topics, including flight testing, airspace integration, industry readiness and creating a future workforce. The result is a new kind of industry dialogue which invites leaders to explain what is being built, why it matters, who it serves and how it can inspire the next generation.
Student questions will aim to challenge speakers to communicate in ways the public can understand and trust, connect today’s breakthroughs to tomorrow’s workforce, demonstrate value beyond the technology itself, surface the questions communities will ultimately ask, and reinforce that Advanced Air Mobility is not simply about products, but about building an ecosystem.
Each question submitted by a student will be displayed to delegates in audience, and then recorded in order to build a document of answers which can then be shared with the schools for further engagement.
Jason Pritchard, Executive Editor at eVTOL Insights, said: “We’re incredibly excited to give students a platform to have their voices heard at our events, which bring together some of the brightest minds from across the Advanced Air Mobility sector. We hope this initiative will help inspire young people and connect them directly with the real-world developments transforming aviation.
“STEM education is fundamental to the future of Advanced Air Mobility, as the next generation of engineers, innovators and leaders will play a critical role in shaping this rapidly evolving industry. We’re proud to support such an important topic at a time when the market is experiencing significant and sustained growth.”
Also joining eVTOL Insights and AMCi | noun™ in this STEAM education coalition are DART (Drone, Aviation and Robotics Technology) in Monterey Bay, California and the Advanced Air Mobility Institute.
Together, each organisation reflects a shared vision for the industry, where leadership is measured by what companies build and how they invite others into the future they are creating.
The coalition also shares the belief that industry should inspire young people to see themselves as future engineers, pilots, designers, communicators, policymakers and problem-solvers.
Additionally, this STEAM coalition is designed to widen the circle of participation, deepen the meaning of the conversation and help ensure that the future of flight is one the next generation can see, understand, question and help shape.
Dave Sickert, chief envisionary officer at AMCi | noun™., added: “At AMCi | noun™, we believe students should have a place in the conversations shaping the world they are growing up in. When students ask questions, they often reframe the discussion and remind us that innovation is not only about what is possible, but also about what is meaningful.”
