Horizon Aircraft Rings Prestigious NASDAQ Closing Bell, “Company Joins Global Stock Exchange”

Many congratulations to the Horizon Aircraft team and its Founder/CEO, Brandon Robinson, for becoming part of the global stock market, after ringing the prestigious NASDAQ (National Association of Securities Dealers Automated Quotations) closing bell on Thursday (January 25th). This is a great accolade for any startup and Horizon now joins an elite group of over 3,300 other listed companies on this particular U.S Exchange.

Last year, there were over 58,200 companies indexed on the global stock market. They reside across 60 exchanges that range in size and trading volume, from the largest — the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) — to tiny local ones dotted around the world.

Horizon accompanies some illustrious NASDAQ bedfellows including Apple, Amazon, Microsoft, Google and NVIDIA Corporation. Being a technology-based Exchange, Horizon has chosen the appropriate surrounds and with a market capitalisation of USD33.7 billion, NASDAQ has become a tour de force since its founding in 1971.

Robinson commented, “We are excited and thankful for the opportunity to celebrate Horizon Aircraft as a publicly traded company. This event marks a moment in time that reflects the hard work and dedication of our talented employees alongside the support of our investors.”

He continued, “We will continue the development of our unique hybrid eVTOL aircraft – the Cavorite X7 – as we aim to build a better future for the Advanced Air Mobility market. With continued and growing support from our global partners we are poised to drive considerable long-term value for all of our stakeholders.”

Like Lilium, Archer, Joby and Vertical Aerospace, Horizon followed the SPAC (Special Purpose Acquisition Company) route to market. For those interested in buying the company’s shares (ticker symbol HOVR), the investment should be viewed as more a medium to long-term hold.
