The next episode in our series of pod­casts about the eVTOL air­craft and urban air mobil­i­ty mar­kets is now live, and this week we were joined by Alan Jones, Chief Tech­nol­o­gy Offi­cer at urban-Air Port.

The com­pa­ny pro­vide inno­v­a­tive ground infra­struc­ture as a ser­vice for Future Air Mobil­i­ty. An ultra-com­pact, rapid­ly deploy­able, mul­ti-func­tion­al oper­a­tions hub for manned and unmanned vehi­cles pro­vid­ing air­craft com­mand and con­trol, charging/refuelling, car­go and pas­sen­ger load­ing and oth­er mis­sion spe­cif­ic facil­i­ties.

Alan talks to us in more about this tech­nol­o­gy and where he thinks it can have the most impact, in par­tic­u­lar the logis­tics and health­care sec­tors. He pro­vides excit­ing details of urban-Air Port’s planned demon­stra­tions in Coven­try lat­er this year, and gives his insight into the cur­rent state of eVTOL infra­struc­ture at the moment.
