An Eve Urban Air Mobil­i­ty-led con­sor­tium of glob­al lead­ing avi­a­tion organ­i­sa­tions has pub­lished an impor­tant 33-page report that is free to down­load, enti­tled: “The Launch of Elec­tric Urban Avi­a­tion: deliv­er­ing envi­ron­men­tal, eco­nom­ic and mobil­i­ty ben­e­fits to the UK this decade”.  

The press release states, “This report high­lights how UK com­mu­ni­ties can pros­per as zero-emis­sions urban flights become more acces­si­ble and con­nect com­mu­ni­ties sus­tain­ably, quick­ly, and qui­et­ly.”

It con­tin­ues, “The first elec­tric UAM flights will start in the UK this decade. The coun­try can ben­e­fit from the growth of this new form of trans­porta­tion in many ways, includ­ing sim­pler urban mobil­i­ty, a sus­tain­able new form of trans­porta­tion, the intro­duc­tion of new green jobs and work­force devel­op­ment oppor­tu­ni­ties, and glob­al lead­er­ship.”
