Eve Air Mobility and RV Connex Partner on Thailand’s AAM Regulatory Framework
Eve Air Mobility and Thai aerospace company RV Connex have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to support the development of a regulatory framework for advanced air mobility (AAM) in Thailand.
The agreement is focused on establishing the regulatory and operational conditions needed for future commercial AAM services, including urban air mobility operations using electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft.
Under the MOU, the two companies will work on long-term industry and regulatory engagement, bringing together stakeholders from government, academia and the private sector. The collaboration will examine operational scenarios relevant to Thailand, as well as requirements covering safety, airspace management and infrastructure.
The partners said the work will draw on emerging international AAM standards while adapting them to Thailand’s aviation environment. RV Connex will take a role in coordinating with local stakeholders as the framework develops.
