EXXOVANTAGE to Supply Exoskeletons for Airspeeder Team New Zealand

EXXOVANTAGE has joined Air­speed­er Team New Zealand as an offi­cial team sup­pli­er ahead of the 2026–27 Air­speed­er Inter­na­tion­al Series, sup­ply­ing occu­pa­tion­al exoskele­ton tech­nol­o­gy for ground crews sup­port­ing elec­tric fly­ing car oper­a­tions.

The New Zealand-found­ed human-per­for­mance tech­nol­o­gy com­pa­ny will pro­vide its Exxo­Lift tech­nol­o­gy to crew mem­bers involved in air­craft prepa­ra­tion and flight oper­a­tions. Ground teams are expect­ed to work with­in tight oper­a­tional win­dows while han­dling equip­ment and car­ry­ing out repet­i­tive and phys­i­cal­ly demand­ing tasks.

The com­pa­ny says its Exxo­Lift exo­suits weigh 800 grams and are designed for work­ers who spend extend­ed peri­ods bend­ing, lift­ing and han­dling equip­ment. The part­ner­ship will focus on using wear­able exoskele­ton tech­nol­o­gy to sup­port tasks where reduc­ing phys­i­cal strain could help crew mem­bers man­age work­load dur­ing race oper­a­tions. EXXOVANTAGE said deploy­ment will be guid­ed by ergonom­ic assess­ments, feed­back from crew and oper­a­tional require­ments.

Air­speed­er describes its cham­pi­onship as a rac­ing series for elec­tric fly­ing vehi­cles, with nation­al teams com­pet­ing in high-speed, three-dimen­sion­al races. Team New Zealand brings togeth­er pilots, engi­neers and tech­nol­o­gy part­ners for the upcom­ing series. The team is prepar­ing to com­pete against teams rep­re­sent­ing oth­er coun­tries in the 2026–27 Inter­na­tion­al Series, with this first sea­son serv­ing a tri­al run of the Exxo­Lift suits.

Beyond sup­port­ing the race team’s imme­di­ate oper­a­tions, the part­ner­ship will pro­vide a test­ing envi­ron­ment for EXXOVANTAGE to assess how wear­able human-aug­men­ta­tion tech­nol­o­gy can be incor­po­rat­ed into avi­a­tion ground-sup­port activ­i­ties.
