Guess What This Strange Looking Road Vehicle Is?

Like some weird transformer-type of road vehicle that might suddenly morph into a robot, drivers in Silicon Valley were faced this week with a very big and complex looking ‘something’ that is neither a large SUV, Hummer or Monster Pick-Up Truck. So what could it be?

It all became clear when the flying car company, ASKA, tweeted, “We are presently conducting supervised road tests of the ASKA A5 drive & fly eVTOL in Silicon Valley. We enjoy the thumbs ups and waves from drivers and pedestrians when they see the A5 driving by.”

These road tests are part of the Type Certification process with the U.S Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), recently started by the company, and is the first “drive & fly” eVTOL to carry this out.

Let us hope local drivers will get used to seeing the ASKA 5 sharing their roads and won’t become too distracted by it, leading to a possible accident.
