SAMAD Aerospace begins certification process of its Starling Cargo eVTOL aircraft

SAMAD Aerospace has confirmed it has started the certification process of its Starling Cargo aircraft.

With a cruising speed of 95mph, flight ceiling of 10,000ft and a range of up to 135 miles, the Starling Cargo will enable flexible point to point air cargo of up to 50kg payload. It will be remotely piloted with auto pilot capability.

Dr. Seyed Mohseni, CEO of SAMAD Aerospace, said: “Our fully electric VTOL Starling Cargo aircraft will change the future of transportation reducing emissions and carbon footprint of air cargo.”

The SAMAD Aerospace team have seen interest in its Starling Cargo aircraft from a number of industry sectors that need to transit high value cargo.  These include oil and gas corporations, gemstone mining companies, medical logistics and emergency response companies.

The Starling Cargo aircraft can also be utilised for delivering humanitarian critical cargo of desperately needed food, medicine and equipment remote regions of the world, which has underdeveloped or damaged local infrastructure.

Available to pre-order now for delivery in Q4 2022, the Starling Cargo will offer an air cargo option faster than conventional travel by utilising locations much closer to the customer’s required point of departure and destination, including remote locations.

With the Starling Cargo aircraft, SAMAD Aerospace will revolutionise the way goods fly around the world, making air cargo faster, greener and more sustainable.

Backed by investors and working in partnership with governments, aviation regulators and specialist suppliers, SAMAD Aerospace is developing a range of innovative, vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) electric and hybrid-electric civil aircraft to enable point-to-point air travel.

Samad Aerospace is now one of the top ten companies in the world that has built and tested multiple prototypes of its VTOL concept. The company is opening its next round of fund raising to start certification program of its aircraft.
