SAMAD Aerospace’s founder Dr Seyed Mohseni talks about its Starling hybrid-electric jet in latest podcast

This week’s episode sees us talk to SAMAD Aero­space’s Dr Seyed Mohseni, who goes into more detail about the com­pa­ny’s fam­i­ly of Star­ling air­craft and its vision for the world’s first eVTOL avi­a­tion inno­va­tion vil­lage.

The Star­ling Jet is expect­ed to go into com­mer­cial oper­a­tion by 2024 and can seat up to 10 pas­sen­gers, trav­el­ling at a cruise speed of 460mph for 1,500 miles.

SAMAD Aero­space is also work­ing on its e‑Starling Jet, which will be ful­ly pow­ered by elec­tric and can reach a top speed of 300mph. Seat­ing up to sev­en pas­sen­gers, it will have a range of 400 miles and will be tar­get­ing com­mer­cial business/leisure and domes­tic trav­el as ear­ly as 2022.
