TWO WEEKS TO OHIO: Pivotal’s Blackfly to take to the skies at eVTOL Insights’ North America Conference 2026
eVTOL Insights can confirm Pivotal will fly its Blackfly fixed-wing eVTOL aircraft at its upcoming North America Conference & Awards, which is being held at the National Advanced Air Mobility Center of Excellence (NAAMCE).
It will be the first time an aircraft has flown at an eVTOL Insights’ conference and will give delegates a rare opportunity to see Blackfly up close and witness a flight around Springfield-Beckley Municipal Airport.
Taking place from April 29th to May 1st, the 2026 event is shaping up to be eVTOL Insights’ biggest event to date. It will feature two industry site visits, a full-day conference and awards ceremony, plus pre-event networking drinks. The program schedule is as follows:
Wednesday, April 29th 2026
4pm to 6pm ET: Two-hour private site visit of NAAMCE
6pm to 8pm ET: Pre-event Drinks Reception at NAAMCE
Thursday, April 30th 2026
9am to 5pm ET: eVTOL Insights’ North America Conference (registration from 8am ET)
5.30pm to 6.30pm ET: eVTOL Insights’ Global AAM Awards 2026
Friday, May 1st 2026
09.30am to 11.30am ET: Planned site visit to Hartzell Propeller HQ, Piqua, OH.

Please note: We have to provide an attendee list for the site visits to NAAMCE and Hartzell Propeller no later than Friday, April 24th. Any ticket purchases made after this date might not be able to join these visits.
