US Air Force’s Agility Prime and OneSky to speak at eVTOL Insights’ upcoming virtual networking event

The emerging eVTOL supply chain and OneSky’s recent partnership with Eve Air Mobility will be the next topics for discussion at eVTOL Insights’ upcoming virtual networking event on July 30th.

With less than two weeks to go, eVTOL Insights can confirm Dana Jensen and Adam Twidell as the next two speakers to give 15-minute presentations about this exciting market.

Jensen is a member of US Air Force’s Agility Prime core team which evaluates the technical and commercial merit of advanced air mobility use cases for potential government support. He is also a Senior Industrial Policy Analyst with the air force’s Office of Commercial and Economic Analysis, specialising in aviation.

Additionally, Jensen is co-chair of the Joint Air Force-NASA-FAA Advanced Air Mobility Supply Chain Working Group, and serves the air force as a Systems Engineering and Technical Analysis (SETA) expert focused on AAM enabling technologies including advanced manufacturing, advanced power storage systems, artificial intelligence, and autonomy.

He is also a member of the air force’s Agility Prime core team which evaluates the technical and commercial merit of AAM use cases for potential Government support.

While Twidell will talk briefly about why OneSky chose Eve and how the company will use its eVTOL aircraft, the importance of industry associations and what he learnt with his company PrivateFly, which can be applied to eVTOLs.

Twidell entered the world of private aviation with NetJets, after serving 10 years as an RAF pilot and learning to fly at Edinburgh University. Following a period of tremendous growth in private aviation, he teamed up with London City Airport and won a contract to develop RAF Northolt into an exclusive private jet hub for the city.

Having seen the industry from all angles, Twidell spotted a gap for an efficient online private jet booking network which linked customers directly with aircraft operators. He co-founded PrivateFly with his wife Carol and developed the platform into one of the leading global private jet digital brands.

The business was sold to OneSky, part of the Directional Aviation group, in 2018 and now sits alongside Flexjet, Sentient, FX Air, Sirio and Halo. Together they cover all entry points into private aviation. His passion for aviation continues with heading up Future of Flight innovation across all their brands.

Registration for the virtual networking event on July 30th is free and you can sign up by clicking here.

Those attending will receive a video recording of both presentations, as well as a PDF document with contact details to connect with industry professionals after the event has finished.
