General Aviation Manufacturers Association Welcomes Autoflight and Eve Air Mobility

The Gen­er­al Avi­a­tion Man­u­fac­tur­ers Asso­ci­a­tion (GAMA) has added six new mem­ber includ­ing AVEX Avi­a­tion, Elixir Air­craft and Game Com­pos­ites as Mem­bers and Aut­oFlight USA, Eve Air Mobil­i­ty and Wing as Asso­ciate Mem­bers.

AutoFlight’s US busi­ness unit is based in Cal­i­for­nia with glob­al head­quar­ters in Shang­hai, Chi­na and loca­tions in Ger­many, devel­op­ing and man­u­fac­tur­ing autonomous eVTOL air­craft to pro­vide safe and reli­able aer­i­al logis­tics sys­tems and urban air mobil­i­ty solu­tions.

Eve Air Mobil­i­ty is ded­i­cat­ed to accel­er­at­ing the Urban Air Mobil­i­ty (UAM) ecosys­tem across the globe, backed by Embraer’s 50-plus year his­to­ry of aero­space exper­tise, and tak­ing a holis­tic approach to pro­gress­ing the UAM ecosys­tem with an advanced eVTOL project.

Found­ed in 1985, AVEX Avi­a­tion spe­cialis­es in the ser­vice and sales of Daher’s TBM air­craft, util­is­ing state of the art equip­ment and trained tech­ni­cians to sup­port the air­craft they ser­vice.

French air­craft man­u­fac­tur­er Elixir Avi­a­tion designs, pro­duces and main­tains a two-seater Part 23 air­craft for train­ing and trav­el­ling. The air­craft has a three gal­lons per hour aver­age fuel con­sump­tion, OneShot car­bon struc­tures, spin-resis­tant behav­iour to fight against loss of con­trol, and a crash-resis­tant fuel tank.

Found­ed 2013, Game Com­pos­ites has devel­oped, cer­ti­fied and pro­duced the GB1 Game­Bird all-com­pos­ite aero­plane Part 23-cer­ti­fied in the acro­bat­ic cat­e­go­ry by FAA and EASA.

The Game­Bird has been in pro­duc­tion since 2019 under an FAA Pro­duc­tion Cer­tifi­cate and 50 have been com­plet­ed and deliv­ered to cus­tomers to date.

Found­ed in 2012, Wing is part of Google’s par­ent com­pa­ny, Alpha­bet as an inde­pen­dent busi­ness in July 2018, since which time it launched an on-demand ser­vice on three con­ti­nents, deliv­er­ing every­thing from med­i­cine and library books, to hot cof­fees and fresh cook­ies to cus­tomers in Aus­tralia, Fin­land, and the Unit­ed States.

In March 2021, GAMA wel­comed five new mem­bers, includ­ing Beta Tech­nolo­gies and Toy­ota Motor North Amer­i­ca as asso­ciate mem­bers

In Jan­u­ary 2021, GAMA also wel­comed five new mem­bers, which include air­craft devel­op­er Kit­ty Hawk and Jump Aero, a Cal­i­for­nia-based start­up build­ing an eVTOL air­craft for emer­gency first respon­ders.
