Just Four Days to Paris Airshow and Wisk Aero Typifies Growing Excitement from eVTOL Industry
Just four days to go until the Paris Airshow opens and the leading eVTOL companies are preparing their chalets and stands, displays and exhibits, for the world to view.
It cannot be emphasised enough how important this event is for the nascent eVTOL industry. Paris is the first time, so many of the leading companies have exhibited together and the Airshow has designated a special area, Hall 5, for such a spectacle. On top of this futuristic bounty, Volocopter will be demonstrating flights of its Volocity aircraft.
One such exhibitor is U.S‑based Wisk Aero, a company now fully owned by Boeing. It is an eVTOL with a difference, given Wisk has bravely stated, it will begin commercial trips via autonomous flight, therefore, standing apart from the other initially piloted aircraft rivals.
Below are three recent tweets from Wisk, typifying the company’s enthusiasm.
